Sean’s background in strategic planning, process improvement, and financial analysis gives him a balanced perspective on clients’ complex issues and leads him to develop innovative, data-driven solutions. His passion is helping clients successfully navigate the intricacies and nuances of mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships. He has experience structuring financial partnerships, evaluating practice acquisitions, leading contract negotiations, defining service line strategies, and developing market entry strategies. Sean’s detail-oriented approach enables him to highlight insights for ECG’s clients and provide organizations with the necessary resources to effectively pursue strategic partnerships.
At ECG, Sean has advised clients across a wide array of strategic initiatives. Sean has helped health systems form strategies for their orthopedic and neuroscience service lines. He developed the physician alignment strategy for a Southeast health system, including evaluating regional medical groups, structuring effective partnerships, and negotiating deal terms. In another project, he negotiated professional services agreements for a West Coast health system in response to recent Medicare Physician Fee Schedule changes and unreliable industry benchmarks. Sean has also provided financial management support for a large West Coast medical group as it navigated volume and funding declines due to the COVID 19 pandemic.
